Visiting this website sets no cookies and loads no analytics or tracking of any kind. There is no cookie banner because there is nothing to consent to.

The fonts are served from our own server. Visiting this site makes no connection to Google.

Server log files

Our hosting provider records technically necessary data when a page is requested: IP address, time, the address requested and the browser identifier. This is required to operate the site securely, on the basis of Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.

Contact form

If you use the form we process: first name, last name, email address, optionally phone number and company, your message, and which language version of the page you wrote from.

The purpose is answering your enquiry and, where applicable, taking steps prior to a contract. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR, and otherwise our legitimate interest in answering enquiries under Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.

The tick box is required in order to send the form. It covers answering your enquiry and contacting you afterwards about related services. It is not a newsletter subscription. The legal basis for that later contact is your consent under Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR, which you may withdraw at any time with future effect. An informal message to the address above is enough.

Where your data goes

Hosting: Vercel Inc. This site’s functions are pinned to the Frankfurt region.

Database: Supabase, PostgreSQL, Frankfurt data centre. Your enquiry is stored there as a contact and an activity.

Email delivery: Resend. Our reply to you is sent through it.

Notification: Telegram. A new enquiry is announced to us there so that it does not sit unanswered.

Error monitoring: Sentry, to detect technical faults in the system that receives your enquiry.

AI-assisted draft replies, and the transfer to the USA

So that we can answer faster, a draft reply to your enquiry is prepared. For this, your name, email address and the text of your message are transmitted to Anthropic PBC, USA.

This is a transfer to a third country. It is based on the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses.

The draft is only proposed to us. Nothing is sent to you automatically: a reply goes out only once a human approves it. There is no automated decision-making within the meaning of Art. 22 GDPR.

Retention

We keep enquiries for as long as they are needed to handle them and for any business relationship that follows. After that we delete them, unless commercial or tax retention periods require otherwise.

Your rights

You have the right of access (Art. 15), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and objection (Art. 21 GDPR).

You may withdraw any consent you have given at any time, with future effect.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority.

An informal message to the address above is enough for any of these.
