Nobody hands their profit and loss statement to a stranger without wondering who they are dealing with. So here is the short version, in the order you are probably asking it.

Can he read my numbers? Ten years in sales, customer service and making work run better, mostly at software, IT and finance companies in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. Three and a half of those as an account executive closing mid-market software deals, where finding the money in somebody else’s business before they would sign anything was the entire job, and it had to happen in the first conversation. That habit is what you are hiring.

Will he push software on me? Building came later, and it stays last on purpose. I write down how the work is actually done, I build the systems that keep track of customers, and I use AI for the parts nobody should be doing by hand. But software is the most expensive answer to most problems, so it is the one I try second.
